What Is Inflatable Pipe Test Plug

The Inflatable Pipe Balloon is made of high-quality rubber and expanded by inflation. When the gas pressure in the water plugging airbag reaches the specified requirement, the Inflatable Pipe Balloon fills the entire pipe section, and the friction between the pipe plugging airbag wall and the pipe is used to block the water leakage, thereby achieving the purpose of quickly blocking the water flow in the target pipe section through inflation and achieving no water seepage.

The pipeline water blocking airbag is composed of an airbag, a pressure gauge, a valve, and a 6-meter-long special air pressure hose. In the building floor water blocking test, it can withstand the natural pressure of 2-6 floors of water.

1. Preparation: First, assemble the accessories of the municipal engineering circular pipe plug inflation device and check the tool for air leakage. Use an air pump to inflate the airbag. The air pressure must not exceed 0.15MAP. Check whether the airbag is leaking.

2. Open the pipe port, slowly place the airbag from this port to the desired position, and then inflate the pipe plug to an appropriate pressure (generally 0.25MP). Note that the pipe plug should not be placed at the joint of the riser pipe fittings. The reasons are:

(1) There is a seam on the inner wall, which affects the tightness of water blocking.

(2) To prevent the pipe plug from expanding to one side and the air pressure cannot be increased, if the air is continued to be inflated, the pipe plug will be broken.

(3) For municipal drainage pipes, the sand must be cleaned and the inner wall must be flat. No burrs are allowed, otherwise it will affect the water blocking sealing and even puncture the capsule.

(4) Pipe plugs of various specifications must be used in the corresponding pipes, and small ones cannot be used instead of large ones.

3. To prevent the airbag from being separated from the hose, tie the airbag and hose interface with wire or other methods.

4. When the airbag is about to be inflated with an air pump, turn down the air volume of the air pump and do not continue to inflate in large quantities to prevent the airbag from bursting and causing an accident.

5. When carrying the airbag, do not drag the airbag to prevent damage to the outer wall of the airbag.

6. During the engineering operation, always pay attention to the pressure value of the airbag. If the pressure value of the airbag is decreasing very slowly, there is no need to stop the operation. Continue to use the air pump to inflate the airbag to the standard air pressure. After the operation is completed, check the airbag or accessories for leaks.

A. Rinse the core mold with clean water after use. When not in use, place it in a ventilated and dry place and avoid contact with oil, acid or alkali.

B. Avoid sharp and hard objects when using it on site.

C. After each demoulding of the capsule, immediately clean it with a brush (nylon brush is best) and tap water to remove the surface concrete to keep the capsule surface clean.

D. If the core mold leaks or the sealing film falls off, you can use a grinding wheel to polish the area to be repaired, apply glue to cover the film for repair, and cover the torn fiber with tape for repair.

1. Check the airbag surface to see if it is clean, whether there is any dirt attached, whether it is intact, and inflate a small amount of air to check whether there are any leaks in the accessories and airbags. Only when it is normal can you enter the pipeline for plugging operations.

2. Inspection of the pipeline: Before plugging, check whether the inner wall of the pipeline is flat and smooth, and whether there are any protruding burrs, glass, stones and other sharp objects. If there are any, remove them immediately to avoid puncturing the airbag. After the airbag is placed in the pipeline, it should be placed horizontally, not twisted, so as not to trap the gas and explode the airbag.

3. Connect the airbag accessories and check for leaks: First, connect the Walrus brand pipeline water plugging airbag attached inflatable accessories. After the connection is completed, use tools to check for leaks. Stretch the pipeline water plugging airbag, connect it with the attached accessories for inflating, and inflate it until it is basically full. When the pressure gauge pointer reaches 0.03MPA, turn off the air stop valve, and evenly apply soapy water on the surface of the airbag to observe whether there are any leaks.

4. Expel the air from the connected pipe water-blocking airbag, roll it up vertically, and put it in through the inspection port. When it reaches the specified position, you can inflate the airbag through the leather tube to the specified use pressure. When inflating, the pressure in the airbag should be kept uniform, and the air should be inflated slowly. Check whether the pressure gauge rises or not. If the pressure gauge rises quickly, it means that the air is inflated too fast. At this time, the inflation speed should be slowed down and the air stop valve should be tightened slightly to reduce the air intake speed. Otherwise, the speed is too fast and the pressure is exceeded quickly, which may explode the airbag.

5. The surface of the airbag should be cleaned immediately after use, and it can be put into storage only after checking that there is no attachment on the surface of the airbag.
